The British International Freight Association (BIFA) is the trade association for UK-registered companies engaged in international movement of freight by all modes of transport, air, road, rail and sea. BIFA has around 1400 corporate members.

 

A prestgious industry kitemark which certifies the holder has proved themselves to be compliant, trustworthy, safe and secure.  AEO status is the EU response to the need for secure international supply chains and the introduction of Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) in the USA. Charles Kendall Freight hold the highest level of AEO status across all 5 UK sites.  Our clients benefit from a "Fastrack" service through Customs controls and a secure partnership with HMRC within the supply chain.

 

Charles Kendall Freight are founding members of the World Cargo Alliance; the premier global network of independent international freight forwarders. The Alliance contains over 1084 member offices in more than 160 countries.

 

IATA serves as an intermediary between airlines and cargo agents as well as passengers via neutrally applied agency service standards and centralized financial systems.

  

ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
