CKF operates both air export and import
services at each branch location. Warehouses are both ERTS – Enhanced
Remote Transit Shed approved as well as holding Customs Warehouse status.
Many of the 9 UK locations hold NCTS approved consignee and consignor
status which enables CKF to receive and load cargo under
T1 transit status from outside of the EU. All locations are registered
for NES, the New Export System.
CKF has direct electronic access to
Customs for the import and export clearance of goods, using any of the
Customs Service Providers (CSP) such as ASM Gems, CNS and FCP.
CKF was one of the first to recognize
the value of ERTS this allows the speedy removal of non customs cleared
import air cargo to our facilities UK wide, for the import clearance process
to be made in a timely fashion. The Customs warehouse regime, allows imported
goods to held without payment any duties or taxes.
We operate consolidation and direct air services to and
from North America, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. We use London
Heathrow (Feltham) as our primary gateway for both import and export cargo
but also use Manchester. CKF has excellent relationships
with key carriers and operates a preferred partner system, which manages
vendor performance in line with ISO quality requirements.
Our warehouse facilities are secure with CCTV, alarms
and other security measures employed, to ensure the safety of goods and
personnel. In addition we provide a complete UK collection and delivery
service, using a combination of owned transport and specially selected
partners, who are quality controlled.
We provide a complete documentation service including
advice on all matters relating to Letters of Credit as well as Certificates
of Origin and Legalization requirements. We also progress chase purchase
orders with vendors and expedite the movement of product using daily status
reports, available on line, along with track and trace of the goods at
shipment level through to item/SKU level.
We are air charters specialists as well which is important
when commercial airline capacity is limited during peak seasons.
| All locations have
approved dangerous goods handling personnel, both in the office and
the warehouse. Our own packing division enables us to pack/repack
such product as well as check, complete and sign dangerous goods certificates. |
