Established in 2008 in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), Dubai, CH Field holds a General Trading Licence issued by the Dubai government. This means we can import a wide range of products, with no duty due at the time of import.

This allows us to offer a unique service. By acting as your company in JAFZA, we can provide a low-cost, low risk entry point into the valuable markets of the Middle East – and beyond.

Dubai and JAFZA
JAFZA allows all imports and re-exports out of Dubai and GCC to move tax-free. You only pay duty when the imported items are released into ‘Free Circulation’ into Dubai, UAE or GCC.

JAFZA is also next to the world’s seventh largest seaport, and close to the forthcoming new Maktoum International Airport.

Your company in JAFZA
We can act as your company in JAFZA, saving you the considerable red tape and risks of either setting up your own business, or forming a joint venture.

Under our General Licence, we can import a wide range of products on your behalf. We carry your cargo from origin, with full admin and logistics support, using the supplier’s original commercial invoice and packing lists. As these show the actual costs of the goods, your vendor and pricing are both protected.

Indeed, we manage the entire process, including helping with opening Letters of Credit and making sure shipping documentation is correct.

Because there’s no tax due on import, the goods can be processed, re-packaged and so on, before being re-exported – or sold into the UAE market at a duty rate of 5%.
